How can you help?

Since a snap General Election was called for Thursday 8th June we've been overwhelmed.

Dozens of people across Stafford, Stone and surrounding areas have been in touch to offer their support, best wishes or to volunteer. If you're one of them then thank you.

We're incredibly grateful for all the support we've received and we're really encouraged that nationally Liberal Democrat membership has now risen to over 100,000!

But there's still a lot left to do. This election is our chance to give a voice to the many people who don't want a Hard Brexit at any cost and we're determined not to let you down.

The Liberal Democrats support UK membership of the single market and we want the British people to have a final say on any Brexit deal in a referendum with the option to reject the deal and stay in the EU.

But in addition to opposing Brexit, you can count on Liberal Democrats to fight to protect our local schools from cuts and to campaign for emergency investment in the NHS and social care.

With jobs at risk, prices going up, climate change ignored and vital public services being deliberately underfunded, we can't afford for this election to be business as usual.
